Jet Set Go! Worldwide Travel – Terms & Conditions
1. Our Role:
Jet Set Go! Worldwide Travel is an independent, locally owned travel agency. We act as an agent between you and airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines and other travel suppliers. All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers.
Our role is more than just “making a booking.” We provide personalised advice, research, itinerary design, supplier communication, document preparation and ongoing support before, during and after your trip.
2. Planning & Service Fees:
Unlike online booking platforms, our service is tailored and supported by years of expertise. Every trip — whether it’s a single hotel night, a tour or a complex multi-country itinerary — requires significant time and behind-the-scenes work. This includes:

Researching the best accommodation, tours and flights to suit your needs

Comparing suppliers, availability, room types and inclusions

Preparing tailored proposals and documentation

Liaising with airlines, hotels and operators on your behalf

Reconfirming arrangements and monitoring for schedule or policy changes

Acting as your safety net if plans are disrupted while you travel
To ensure this work is valued fairly, Jet Set Go! charges planning and service fees.

These fees are non-refundable and are applied whether or not you choose to proceed with a booking.

Additional fees apply for re-quotes, itinerary changes, or multiple rounds of research.
This ensures that the time, knowledge and professional care invested in your travel is respected, even if your plans change.
3. Accommodation & Tour Planning Support:
Even a single hotel stay or a small activity can require extensive research and communication with suppliers. For these bookings, a small service fee applies, which covers:

Research and tailored recommendations that suit your preferences and budget

Supplier communication and reservation management

Ongoing support if your plans need adjusting or if issues arise during travel
This way, you can relax knowing you have a dedicated advisor taking care of the details while you enjoy the fun part of travel.
4. Quotes & Pricing:

Quotes are valid only for the period specified and remain subject to change until a booking is confirmed with a deposit or payment.

Prices are based on live availability at the time of quoting. We cannot guarantee availability or pricing until payment is received and confirmed with the supplier.

While we take every effort to ensure accuracy, errors or changes by third-party suppliers may occur.
5. Deposits & Payments:

A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with final payment due by the date specified.

Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit.

Payments are made in accordance with supplier terms and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations where applicable.
6. Cancellations & Changes:

Cancellations or amendments may incur fees from both Jet Set Go! and the suppliers involved.

Supplier cancellation and amendment policies apply in addition to our service fees.

Planning/service fees are non-refundable, even if your travel plans change or if you choose not to book after receiving a quote.

Repeated itinerary changes or last-minute alterations require additional planning fees due to the time involved in reworking arrangements.
7. Travel Insurance:
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all bookings. Jet Set Go! can provide suitable insurance options, but it is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure adequate coverage for cancellations, amendments, medical emergencies or disruptions.
8. Responsibility & Liability:

Jet Set Go! acts as an agent only and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or defaults of third-party suppliers.

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, changes, or additional costs arising from weather, strikes, government actions, health events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
9. Respect for Professional Time:
At Jet Set Go! we are passionate about creating exceptional travel experiences, but it’s important for clients to understand that significant professional time is invested long before a booking is confirmed.
Researching multiple accommodation options, preparing tailored proposals and liaising with suppliers can take many hours. When plans are cancelled or moved elsewhere after this work has been completed, the time invested does not simply disappear. Service fees are applied to ensure fair recognition of the effort and expertise provided, whether or not a final booking is made.
10. Supporting a Local, Independent Business:
Jet Set Go! Worldwide Travel is a small, independent agency — not a large corporate or online booking platform. Every quote we prepare is created personally and every hour of research, supplier communication and proposal writing is done by a real person, not a computer.
Unlike large travel websites, we don’t have deep pockets or automated systems running in the background. Each enquiry requires time-intensive energy and resources — and while we love doing what we do, it comes with real costs such as professional subscriptions, industry accredited booking systems, internet and power and the countless hours spent tailoring your trip.
By booking with Jet Set Go!, you’re directly supporting a local business and helping us continue to provide the personal service, guidance, and care that large online platforms simply cannot offer.
TAANZ Accreditation:
Jet Set Go! Worldwide Travel is proudly accredited by the Travel Agents Association of New Zealand (TAANZ). This means we adhere to strict professional standards, operate ethically and transparently and maintain ongoing industry training. For our clients, TAANZ accreditation provides peace of mind: your money is held securely, bookings are managed professionally and dispute resolution support is available if needed. Booking with a TAANZ-accredited agent ensures you are supported by a trusted and accountable travel professional every step of the way.
11. Booking Completeness Policy:
To provide the highest level of service and ensure your trip runs smoothly, Jet Set Go! works most effectively when we handle the entire booking process — flights, accommodation, tours and activities.
If you choose to book portions of your trip independently online, we may not have access to full booking information and this can limit our ability to manage, coordinate, or optimise the rest of your travel. For this reason, we ask that clients either allow us to manage the whole booking, or fully acknowledge that we will not be able to assist with partial bookings.
This approach ensures that the time, research and care we invest in planning your trip is used efficiently and effectively and it helps prevent confusion, errors, or missed opportunities in your arrangements.
12. Acceptance of Terms:
By engaging Jet Set Go! Worldwide Travel for quotes or bookings, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the application of service fees.
